It has created working scopes in Canada for the citizens of Chile. The nationals of Chile can get short-term work permits from Canada through the CCFTA agreement. They will not need an LMIA approval for this.
Common Conditions to Fulfill under the CCFTA Work Permit:
The applicants have to fulfill the following conditions if they want a work permit under the CCFTA contract-
• To get a work permit in Canada under the CCFTA, the candidate has to hold Chilean nationality. Immigrants with permanent residency in Chile are not qualified to apply.
• The candidates have to fulfill all the conditions regarding short-term access to Canada. This includes submitting papers related to traveling and identification, national security, and TRV issuing, etc.
• They are only allowed to apply for non-permanent access to Canada.
• To be eligible to apply, the candidate must be one of the following:
• An investor: An individual who has financed or will finance a business in Canada.
• A business visitor: Someone who intends to make a short-term entrance into Canada for business purposes.
• A specialist: A worker with special professional skills whose goal is to work for a company in Canada.
• An intra-corporate transferee: An employee who has been transferred from a Chilean company to its related company in Canada.
