The person interested in investing in Manitoba has to have the following qualities.
• The person interested in the investment needs to secure a high score in the point system used for selecting candidates. The points are based on age, schooling, experience, net wealth value, language skill, financing amount, etc.
• Even though there is no age limit, people whose ages are from 25 years to 49 years get top priority.
• The investor’s language skill needs to be proved by having a result of 5 points in CLB or NCLC.
• He or she needs to have an educational background that can be considered at least equal to Canadian secondary school graduation.
• The investing person has to possess enough wealth to be considered equal to 500 thousand Canadian dollars and this is the minimum amount.
• He or she has to be experienced in running a business for 3 years at least and it has to be within the recent 5 years.
Qualifications of the business:
The business to be invested in has to have certain things in its specifications to be considered approvable. Those are written below.
• Prior to the delivery of the Letter of Support giving work permit, the financing party and the MPNP have to put signature on the BPA papers.
• The applicant needs to have at least one experience of visiting Manitoba for business-related exploration purposes.
• The least amount of investment varies based on location. If the business is located inside the Manitoba capital area, at least 250000 CAD need to be invested and 150000 CAD if the business is not inside the capital area.
• The invested company has to make a working scope for one or more Canadian.
Unacceptable businesses:
There are some businesses that will not be accepted.
• Businesses created for gaining rent, dividend, interest, etc.
• Migration financing plans.
• Housing-related business.
• Financing on real estate.
• Business based on asset managerial work.
• Consultancy farm
• Car licensing service. (Limousines and Taxies)
Immigration procedure:
• Submitting EOI. It has to be submitted to the MPNP.
• After the LAA is delivered to the candidates, they need to put an application.
• The MPNP will judge the application.
• Founding a business and running it according to the conditions of the MPNP.
• At last the MPNP will provide the candidate with a recommendation letter.
