The Canadian Experience Class (CEC), is a program for Canadian immigrants. It helps foreign students and workers get residency based on their Canadian work experience.
Basic Requirements of Canadian Experience Class Program (CEC):
You have to meet the basic Requirements of CEC. which are work experience and language ability.
Work Requirements of (CEC):
• Must have a minimum of one year of full-time paid work experience in Canada.
• Have to apply within three years of getting your job experience.
The experience of 1-year full-time work. That means 30 hours per week and 1,560 hours total.
And the Other hand part-time jobholders, you also need 1560 hours total. It can be your 24 months of experience in your field. It means 15 hours per week and 1,560 hours total in 2 years. Or you can add more part-time jobs to meet the criteria.
It won’t be a problem if your work experience is not continuous or not from the same field. And overtime hours not counted.
Language ability of (CEC):
• Obtain minimum requirement of language ability in either English or french.
• Must need a legal status in Canada while studying or working.
You must have the ability to meet the language requirement. Either English or French. You will get two options for English. One is CELPIP and the other IELTS. You give the General Test not the Academic test. In Express Entry, an Academic test is not allowed. On the other hand, you will get One option for french. That is the TEF test. In all language ability sectors, if you get 6 in IELTS or 7 in CELPIP is equates to (Canadian Language Benchmarks) CLB 7. The language test result must be less than two years old on the day of the permanent residency application.
Education:
There is no specific requirement for education. But it helps to increase your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and Express entry points. Anyone can know about their eligibility by using the CRS Calculator.
