Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score:
Depending on your work experience, language proficiency, age, education, and other factors, you will be assigned to Express Entry Pool with other candidates. Those who will have the highest CRS score will get the invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
In order to rank, access, and score candidates, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) uses the CRS score system.
CRS points-based system gives the candidates a score (out of a maximum 1200 CRS score).
CRS score is (1200) = Core Points (max 600) + Additional Points (max 600).

Express Entry Profile:
To immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker, the first stage is to Register for Express Entry Profile. As a foreign national, you will be only able to submit it if you meet atleast the minimum entry requirements under at least any of the 3 immigration programs.
Who Can Register Express Entry Profile?
If you meet the minimum requirements of at least one of ( Canadian Experience Class Program, or Federal Skilled Worker Program, or Federal Skilled Trades Program ) these 3 programs, you are eligible to submit the profile.
