Bridging

This is the type of open work permit that is designed for Canada PR applicants. Anyone who has applied for lifelong residence in this country can seek for a work permit and at the same time their application will be being processed.

Conditions to be fulfilled:

 
There are certain things that determine the work permit seeker’s eligibility to apply. Those are: 

• The candidate is staying in Canada at present.
• He or she is currently holding a proper work permit.
• The work permit the candidate is holding right now has only 4 months or even less time left until its expiry date.
• He or she has submitted an application for permanent residence and the application is being processed.
