Post-Graduation Work Permit

This is for those non-Canadian students who have completed their education in Canada and want to work in this country.

This is also a good way for them to gain permanent residency in the future. Anyway, not all college or university graduates can apply for this kind of work permit. Only graduates from selected universities can have this privilege. Graduates under DLI can get a work permit for 8 months to 36 months depending on the length of their study program.

Qualifications:

 
To be considered suitable for this work permit the applicant has to fulfill the conditions below: 

• The applicants have to get their degrees from DLI. DLI stands for Designated Learning Institution.
• They need to complete a study program fully in Canada. The program needs to have a duration of eight months at a minimum.
• They have to submit an application requesting a work permit within around 6 months.
• They need to be no less than 18 years old.
• They need to possess proper certification and documents to prove the fulfillment of all the criteria of the program.
