Requirements for Employer Eligibility

There are some particular qualifications and conditions to be fulfilled to be regarded as qualified for the LMIA application.

The Canadian govt. is very strict on those conditions. An employer should check eligibility conditions before applying.

• Possesses ownership of a legal business.
• The business is to sell products or offer services to people.
• He or she has not fired any worker within 1 year before submitting the application.
• The need of employing international workers has been proved to be legitimate.
